ABQ BioPark Botanic Garden debuts ORIGAMI IN THE GARDEN!

We’re thrilled to bring ORIGAMI IN THE GARDEN to Albuquerque for the very first time! From Thursday, October 8, 2026, through Sunday, March 28, 2027, our traveling exhibition of origami-inspired sculptures will be tucked among the 32 acres of plants from the American Southwest and beyond at the ABQ BioPark Botanic Garden.

Behind every one of our installations is a team that makes it happen, and ours outdid themselves once again. Even on our 31st garden exhibition, our install team kept finding clever ways to fine-tune the process, with Eben and Heidi leading the charge on this year's updates. The result was a smooth, well-orchestrated install. We were also thrilled to have Ben join us from the studio for his first garden installation! We're grateful to the entire team for their care and innovation.

It's a big first for the ABQ BioPark, too: this is their debut traveling exhibition, and their team was an absolute joy to work with. We're excited to collaborate with them as our partners and can't wait to see visitors discover the exhibit. Kevin and Jennifer Box share the sentiment: "As Santa Fe artists, we are extremely honored to have this exhibit on display, practically in our own backyard! This year we celebrate 20 years of marriage and living and creating in New Mexico. Thank you to ABQ BioPark Botanic Garden for the opportunity to show folks from the state and beyond our life's work."

And here's a bonus for New Mexico locals and visitors: the Box Studio Sculpture Garden in Cerrillos, NM closes for the season after October 30, so the ABQ BioPark exhibit is the perfect way to experience it during the winter months.
